Gunnuk Creek bear & eagle viewing (Silver Spike Bridge)

Guided hikes & wildlife

Seasonal

When chum salmon crowd Gunnuk Creek in summer, bears and eagles fish within sight of the Silver Spike Bridge and the old hatchery's viewing platform.

Viewing spots named on Alaska Seaplanes' Kake page. The hatchery is owned by NSRAA (ADF&G 2026 annual management plan) and is a working facility — keep to the bridge and platform.
